1. How many years have you been in business?
We officially launched this past summer July 2022!
2. How did you get your start and what was your initial inspiration?
After being introduced by a mutual friend, we met for drinks on Chiltern Street, we clicked instantly!! We both shared a mutual love for a peter pan collar and a delicate floral and the rest was history. After moving back to the US, we noticed a gap in the market. So we decided to create our own version of prints, with an American twist. Having both our daughters was definitely the biggest inspiration!
3. What do you feel differentiates you from others in your field?
Our prints are exclusively designed in the UK and blend both American and British cultures into our collections, just like our British/American daughters!!
4. What do you feel gives you longevity in the industry with so many options?
We strive to create prints that are playful, sweet and timeless.
5. How do you positively impact your clientele?
We love when our clients send us pictures of their kids smiling in our swim! It is very special that we can be a part of these memories at the beach or on vacation!
6. What is your favorite part of your job?
Creating and designing a business that means so much to us, and can be passed down to our daughters. We do it all for them!
7. What is the most memorable feedback a client/ has given you?
"It's the only hat my daughter will wear"- A huge compliment. Kids and hats are not normally a happy combination, haha!!
8. What is the best advice anyone's ever given you? Or what is your "mantra" / words to live by?
"British flavor, American Behavior"
9. What do you want to achieve next?
We're growing our collections! We want to be the one stop shop for resort wear! and hopefully other categories down the line.
